North beach:  Open to swimmers from 8 am until sunset daily, year-round. Lifeguards are on standby during those hours to staff the towers when swimmers are present.

East beach:  Open for the summer season only, with swimming allowed from 10 am – sunset.  Lifeguard on standby to staff the tower when swimmers are present.

1. Swimming at designated beaches will be allowed only in accordance with hours and conditions as posted and are subject to change.
2. Swimming beyond designated swimming areas is not allowed.
3. No throwing of sand in facilities.
4. No food or drinks allowed in the water.
5. Appropriate swim attire is always required.
6. Scuba diving is prohibited.
7. Swimming without a lifeguard on duty is not allowed at LMV beaches.
8. Proof of swimming ability may be required by lifeguards.
9. Individual with incontinence issues and children who wear diapers must wear fitted rubber or plastic or LMV approved swim pants, while on the beach or swimming.
10. Only individual flotation devices made of soft materials are allowed in the swim area. No large rafts allowed.  Flotation devices are subject to lifeguard approval.
