New or Existing LMVA Members Must Have an ID Badge to be Admitted to Lake Facilities and Events
Initial Badges
Initial badges are Issued by appointment only through the membership office at (949) 770-1313 ext. 212. Based on your property ID number or address, a membership counselor will tell you what you need to bring. During this appointment you will take pictures for your ID badge and learn about the Lake.

Lost, Misplaced, Or Forgotten Badge
The gate attendant will collect $10 (the fee for a replacement badge) and issue a temporary facility access pass good for the date of purchase. Save your yellow copy. Either take it to the membership office within ten days along with your current ID badge for a full refund or exchange the yellow slip for a new badge. Non-owners will need to show their ID/proof of residence as outlined in the expired badge procedures below.
Expired Badge
To renew an expired badge visit the membership office daily between 8 am and 5 pm.
Adult children or members of the owner’s household that are not listed on the grant deed must reside at the member property and bring one of the following to confirm residency at that property. For children under 18, proof of residence is required for their parent or legal guardian.
- Driver’s license or California state ID
- Auto insurance
- DMV car registration
Spouses of the owner may present a marriage certificate if the owner is listed on the grant deed as married.
Tenants of private homes need the first page of their new lease agreement to renew. Month to month tenants should have their landlord or property manager email [email protected].
