Job description: Job Summary: Under general supervision, performs A/P, cash, A/R, general ledger, and financial reporting functions. Responsibilities: • Performs accounts payable duties to include collection of invoices and coding, accurate posting into accounting software, generating payments, and vendor relations • Coordinates cash handling including petty cash distribution and reconciliation, safe counts with overages and shortages follow-up, cash ordering, courier relations, and cash controls • Performs accounts receivable functions including daily posting and balancing of cash receipts: check, electronic bill-pay, ACH, credit card, and deposit processing • Prepares daily cash statement and maintains detailed reconciliation of all needed balance sheet accounts, including bank and credit card statements • Prepares month-end journal entries and runs various month-end reports • Prepares and distributes monthly financial statements • Assists the Controller with annual audit preparation and special projects • Performs other tasks and duties as assigned.

Job description: Position Summary: If you enjoy working outdoors, learning new skills, and working independently, this may be the job for you! The Aquascaper role provides hands-on experience in lake and shoreline maintenance, boating operations, and basic water quality monitoring. This position reports directly to the Lake Biologist and is responsible for maintaining the aesthetic appearance, safety, and recreational usability of the Association's beaches and lake for members and their guests.

Key Responsibilities: Groom and maintain the Association's beaches to support a clean and safe recreational environment. Remove floating debris along the entire shoreline, docks, and lake surface. Operate a work boat to remove visible underwater debris and aquatic weeds, helping maintain access for boating, fishing, and swimming. Assist with water sampling and testing under the direction of the Lake Biologist. Inspect tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition and reporting maintenance or replacement needs. Follow established safety standards and attend safety meetings. Provide friendly, professional, and attentive service to members and guests.

Skills & Attributes: Enjoys working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Comfortable working independently after training, including extended time alone on work boat. Interest in biology, environmental science, or lake ecology is preferred, but not required. Previous boating experience is a plus. Strong attention to safety and ability to follow procedures. Willingness to learn boating operations, equipment use, and basic water-quality sampling. Positive, service-oriented attitude when interacting with members and guests.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to spend most of the workday on a boat and occassionally in the water. Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work for extended periods.

This position guides renters through the Clubhouse rental process from initial inquiry through the day of their event, assists with coordinating facility requirements, and maintains organized and clear communication of rental details to help provide a positive experience for members and their guests.

Key Responsibilities: Respond to rental inquiries and conduct Clubhouse tours for prospective renters. Review rental procedures and requirements with renters, including agreements, insurance, guest lists, floor plans, parking, decorating guidelines, and setup and cleanup requirements. Maintain the event calendar, place holds on requested dates, and assist with the rental booking process. Process rental applications, agreements, invoices, and payments. Follow up with renters to obtain required documents and information prior to their event. Create and revise floor plans and communicate setup, teardown, and other event requirements to LMVA departments. Communicate LMVA facility policies and requirements to outside vendors. Provide day-of-event support and help ensure Clubhouse policies and procedures are followed. Maintain accurate event records and communicate updates and follow-up needs to other Events staff to ensure continuity between shifts. Experience/Qualifications: Must be at least 21 years of age, have a valid CA driver license, and a minimum of four years driving experience. Attends weekly Supervisors and Managers meeting and communicates pertinent information/updates back to Gate team; mediates minor disputes with members regarding facility entrance/exit; Communicates ideas for improving gate operations. This position may perform any or all tasks that this position oversees if necessary. Supervises 10-20 part-time employees in the Gate department.
Experience/Qualifications: Must be at least 21 years of age and have a valid CA driver's license. GED and a minimum of one year's experience in supervision, hiring, coaching and counseling, employee performance assessment and writing performance reviews. Excellent customer service skills. The Lifeguard Lieutenant will lead and teach all components of open-water lifeguarding, pre-hospital medical aid, rescue boat operator, and junior lifeguard training programs and classes.

In-charge of overseeing the beaches and lifeguard operations in the absence of the Lifeguard Lieutenants. Patrols the lake by boat and enforces lake rules and regulations. Works in conjunction with Compliance Officer in enforcing LMV's regulatory issues. Assists in patrolling fishing area on foot and enforces fishing rules and regulations. Responds appropriately and effectively to emergencies such as overturned boats, accidents, and injuries. Provides first aid and rescues swimmers when needed. Records daily activity and statistics into spreadsheet in Lifeguard Headquarters. Prepares clear and concise records, reports, and logs. Assists in supervising maintenance projects as assigned by the Lifeguard Lieutenant. In off-season, performs maintenance on boats such as cleaning, polishing, varnishing, resin repair, etc. Performs SCUBA dives and supervises work and training dives throughout the lake.
Experience/Qualifications: Education, Training, and/or Experience: High School Diploma or GED. Minimum of three (3) full summer seasons experience lifeguarding for a USLA affiliated lifeguard agency. At least one (1) full year of supervisory and leadership experience of lifeguards. Advanced swimming and diving proficiencies required;

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: USLA approved Open Water Lifeguard & First-Aid certification and possession of current AHA/ARC CPR with AED card or equivalent. Must be at least 21 years of age at time of hire and possess a valid California driver's license with a minimum of four years of driving experience and an acceptable driving record (This is a mandatory requirement due to the responsibilities of driving company vehicles). Must possess a valid California Boater Card at time of hire. Must obtain both national SCUBA and Orange County EMT certification within six (6) months of hire (SCUBA and EMT certification at time of hire is highly desired). Must maintain a valid CA Class C Driver License and OC EMT Certification throughout employment in the position.

Hourly rate: $20.50 an hour. Opportunities for a raise during the annual performance review period.
Hours per week: Up to 24 hours in the off season (Oct-May) and up to 40 hours in the summer (June-Sept). Must be available to work one weekend day per week and on holidays. Flexible schedule with rotating shifts during office hours (Monday - Sunday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm), with extended hours or alternate shifts as needed.

As a key member of the Membership Department, you will often be the first point of contact, offering friendly and helpful service, assisting with new member orientations, answering questions, and supporting a variety of membership-related services. Key Responsibilities: Greet members and visitors in person and by phone in a courteous and professional manner. Answer general questions or refer inquiries to Membership Counselors as needed. Take photos for membership identification cards and introduce members to LMVA amenities and policies. Assist Gate Attendants with verifying membership that allows access to the LMVA facility. Maintain inventory of membership supplies. Assist with escrow requests to ensure a smooth transfer of membership. Maintain a current and accurate membership database on the computer. Schedule member appointments. Process payments and respond to general billing inquiries. Maintain continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs, either verbally, in account notations, or by email.

Experience/Qualifications: Excellent customer service experience and strong telephone skills. Clear and professional verbal and written communication, attention to detail, and effective organizational skills. Able to work both independently and as part of a team. Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office, Outlook, and company database software. Business office or administrative experience is preferred. Must be at least 18 years of age. High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required. One to three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Employment is contingent upon successfully passing of a pre-employment drug test and background screening.
